FAQ's

I'm looking for "XYZ" can you give me a price?

Certainly. Connect with us and explain what you are looking for in your coverage. We will send you a custom estimate and our price sheet which includes both packages and a la carte items.

How long after the wedding can I expect my images?

We guarantee you will have your gallery on-line within 30 days, but our goal is to have them waiting for you when you come back from your honeymoon.

Do you photograph black and white as well as color? Does that cost extra?

Yes, We can deliver images in black and white, and no it doesn't cost more. Just let me know ahead of time if you want a few, some, all in black and white and that is what I will deliver!

My fiancé are having a wedding website. Can we use images from our engagement session on the site?

Yes. Images for your site can be included in your custom package for no extra cost. We ask for photo credit and link to our website.

I want all the digital files of my wedding. Do you sell them? Can I make prints from them?

Yes! We sell the digital files in bulk for the whole engagement session and/or wedding with global adjustments, or in small lots and individually with additional specific retouching to enhance the image and make it look its absolute best. When you purchase files you get reprinting rights for your personal use only. We ask that you order prints from us if you want to give them as gifts to family and friends.

I want to purchase digital files to make my own album do you sell retouched files?

Yes! Many people are creatives, and there are a lot of great on-line publishers out there for consumers. We sell smaller lots of retouched files that can be used for individual prints or albums. We even give recommendations of printers to use for prints and books when you purchase the files.

I want a really nice album, but I want to have a big part in designing it. What are my options?

You select the album type, orientation, and images you want in your album. I have you put your album images in a Lightbox from your on-line gallery. There you can give me notes and say things like "I want this one big," or "I want this as part of a collage." Before I start the design process I'll go through a check list with you to find out your design preferences for background, border, etc., and then I'll design the album. You have two chances to make changes before we go to print. Additionally, with the purchase of any medium or larger album the retouched digital files are included in the purchase of the album. It is a great value since you get a beautiful custom album and the digital files for your personal archive and use.

Do I get to select the music for my engagement video and wedding slideshow?

Yes, but it must be from our licensed music vendor. We are artists and respect the copyright of other artists. Unfortunately the licensing costs of a top 40 hit is prohibiting for our purposes, but there are great songs out there that we can license. All genres are available, with or without words. We are sure you can find something from these award winning and grammy nominated artists that captures the mood and message you want to send.

I'd like a large canvas, 20x30, do you do that?

Yes! I photograph your wedding with Canon 5D Mark II and 5D in raw format. This allows me the greatest amount of control of the final image quality and size for large prints on photographic paper, canvas, or poster prints for 20x30 and bigger.

I'm ready to order my products, but I can't find my price sheet can you resend it to me?

I no longer get this question. When you become a client of K2B you get your own personal page on our website accessible through "login." You pick a password that is easy for you to remember and that is all you need to know. On this page we post pdf files of your invoice, contract, price sheet, and important links. You no longer need to fish through old emails. Everything is all kept in one place for your reference and convenience.

Do you have backup equipment?

Yes! We take back-up seriously. My workflow ensures redundancy too. I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark II, and have a Canon 5D as a second camera. I have six different lens that help me get the job done. At my office I use a Drobo system that has redundant hard drives, and a second Drobo that is at my home. Your images are backed up on four different hard drives in two places. Once the images are edited, processed and uploaded to your on-line gallery, your images are additionally backed up from any major natural diaster on nation wide servers. Though we hope it never happens, all of California could fall into the ocean and you would still have your images!

The ideal bride and groom for us is a couple that puts a high value on the photography for their wedding day. They want beautiful and timeless images, and understand that one day these images will become their memories of one of the biggest days in their lives.
